If at first you don't succeed, REBOOT

Solution Computers and telephones operate on a very basic principle. There is a microprocessor which runs programs loaded into memory. Unfortunately, memory errors can and do occur that prevents programs from running properly. This actually even happens with hardware devices like routers.

Because of this, when errors occur the machine should be power cycled or, rebooted.

We realize a reboot would take five minutes of your life you'll never get back. But resetting all those programs and the operating system with a fresh boot is important to make sure that the problem you are experiencing is not just due to one of those memory errors.

Please save yourself some time, and save us some time. When experiencing a difficulty with any of your programs (error messages and the like) or the program is refusing to perform in a manner consistent with what you've experienced in the past, please REBOOT.

If, after rebooting, you still experience the problem, please submit a trouble ticket so that we can get involved.

To reboot your computer, go to Start>Turn Off Computer and from the dialog box that pops up choose "Restart".
